| Our company's roots in
the Chesapeake Bay region
go back to 1947 when Airpax
was founded in Baltimore.
With our domestic operations
now located in Frederick
and Cambridge, MD, the beautiful
Chesapeake Bay still exerts
a powerful influence on our
company's culture and values.
One of our strong values
moves us to continually
look for ways to improve
our environmental "greening" activities.
Recycling, reduction
in the use of materials
classified as "hazardous",
and elimination of CFC's
are all initiatives that
we and many other responsible
companies have embraced.
But we want our greening
efforts to go further.
Outreach programs into
the community to raise
the awareness of children
of the importance of
recycling, replacing
traditional lighting
with new environmentally-friendly
lighting systems, and
looking for ways to use
products made from recycled
materials are all other
examples of the efforts
of our highly motivated
and successful "Green
Teams".
